BSc (Ag) in Maharashtra : 2016-17

The Admission process for BSc (Agriculture) in Maharashtra Agriculture Colleges for the Academic Year 2016-17 has started on 6th June, 2016. For all agriculture  colleges in  Maharashtra, both in government and private colleges, BSc Agriculture admissions are centrally co-ordinated and organised by Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research (MCAER), Pune. The student need not contact individual colleges for admission even for the management seats. All the seats in Government and Private Agriculture colleges are filled based on the merit out of the applications received online by MCAER. Therefore, In order to get seat under merit or management category, the first step is to apply online at MCAER website. There is a fee of Rs. 1050/- that can be paid using credit card / debit card / netbanking / offline challan / Demand Draft etc.

3. Last date of receipt of printed application: 05^th July, 2016

4. Display of provisional merit list: 12^th July, 2016

5. Display of final merit list: 19^th July, 2016

6. Display of I Round allotment list: 22^nd July, 2016

7. Display of II Round allotment list: 30^th July, 2016

8. Display of III Round allotment list:06^th August 2016

9. Management Quota Admissions: 12^th August, 2016 to 16^th August, 2016

10. Display of Vacancy positions for Spot Round: 13^th August, 2016

11. Spot Admission Round: 16^th, 18^th, 19^th, 20^th and 22^nd August, 2016

12. Commencement of classes: 11^th August, 2016

Once the student applies online, a copy of the application may be forwarded to the respective private college’s email as an expression of interest to study in that college under management quota.
