  • Colleges are only in Maharashtra under ICAR Universities or in many other states like Orissa, TN, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, UP, MP for UGC recognised private universities.

  • Food technology course is available only in government colleges. There is no chance in getting that seat in AP. You can try in other states like Maharashtra etc

  • For BTech Food Technology, there are total 36 seats for Telangana to be filled on merit basis in TSEAMCET through counselling. Out of this 36 seats, 20 seats are at College of Food Science & Technology, Rudrur, Nizamabad Dist. and 16 seats are at College of Food Science & Technology, Bapatla, Guntur Dist. and College of Food Science & Technology, Pulivendula, Kadapa Dist. of Andhra Pradesh State. All these 36 seats are available only in government colleges as there are no ICAR recognised private colleges in both these states for BTech Food Technology. Out of the total 36 seats, 10 seats (29%) for BC, 6 (15%) seats for SC, 2 (6%) seats for ST, totalling to 18 seats are reserved. Out of the total 36 seats, 15 seats (40%) are reserved for Farmer community. Depending upon your category and status like Farmer or Non Farmer, you can visualize weather you will get seat or not.

  • Please wait for the vacant seats list to display on 13th of this month at mcear website. If there are vacancies available for BTech Food Technology at College of Food Technology, Parbhani, then you have to go to that college in person carrying all your original certificates + xerox copy set of your certificates (at least 3 sets), 10 passport photographs and the fee amount on 16th of this month at College of Food Technology, Parbhani.

  • Your final rank for BSc agri is 31669, for food technology is 29418 and for agri engineering is 17527. If you have given options in the online application for Food tech or agri engineering, you may likely to get in the III round.
